Ok, this is pretty unconfirmed or maybe not approved by many TLR players for the fact I added that Marina is actually Oswald Hermeien's daughter. I came up to this conclusion based on several related scenes in the game:

1. First meeting of Wilfred and Irina.
Irina: "Just what do you want from me?"
Wilfred: "Feisty one, this is. Just like her mother."
Irina: "You... know my mother?"
Wilfred: "I loathe such women."
2. First time Rush meets with Oswald at Suddenalm - Nagapur.
Oswald: "You're Rush Sykes, I presume. I am Oswald. Marina was right, you have her eyes, filled with goodness and justice. You need not worry about her. She is about, gathering information to help you on your journey. She was here until just a moment ago."
"I realize it is hard to trust my words, but I know all about you, Marina, and your sister Irina. when the time is right, I will tell you all there is to know." (Sadly, the right time is never come)
Oswald: "Marina was a bright young girl. She learned the Remnant theory in mere seconds. Granted... To this day, I have doubts as to whether that was a positive thing..."
"Rush Sykes, you must save your sister. Marina deserves to be with her family again. With you and your sister and your father."
3.The party need to find the way to Sacred Lands.
Marina: "A Remnant to travel to the Sacred Lands... Father, I mean, Oswald might know something."
Oswald: "Rush, Irina, I think of you as my own grandchildren. Please, return safely."
Am interested if someone can come up with more better fact..

The game practically spells it out for you at the end of the game. If you also paid attention during the Numor Mine segment, it turns out that she's adopted, not Oswald's biological daughter. Zephyr (talk) 16:36, November 27, 2014 (UTC)
