Mystic or Physical[]

It seems like the localization team may have been asleep... Again, like with Hoarfrost, the JP string states that it's a physical attack. I'll test this out when my nerves have stopped frying themselves and getting more progress on the X360 version. Looks like Leshau has a bit of work cut out for him. Oh, and it really should be called "Thor Hammer." You know, because of its element? Zephyr 18:24, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

I agree with the name but it doesn't look like a hammer more like a fish bone thingy, I think its pysical cuz I was fighting Ludope in the six bases and he resist it using protection. I forgot if he used Orphic Ward at the beginning but I'm certain that is Physical but sure we still need to test it. my most favorite none Remnant weapons art is Swordflash not only I love Tataraichi but its swift and silent and causes lot of damage in a unit but the most flashy is Cerulean Rain like the rain of blades scary!!! Double Down Ouch!!!--Remnant13 19:41, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

Well, that was resolved fairly quickly. Forgot that I could force certain things on the field. Loaded up a save parked in front of Bai Ze, gave the dragon Protection, then forced Oakes to use トールハンマー. No damage was dealt, thus it's physical. Same deal with Irina's マルチキャスト and ゼノフォビア. I don't know how did you do that but i'm guessing you used a trainer to change its art a great way to test, but still in-game it says Mystic damage just probably one of many mistranslation.--Remnant13 05:09, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

TLR_EE. Used the "change union animation" part from the battle tab. I kinda figured that whatever you choose for the allies will target the enemy, so I made Oakes/Irina/Verquent cast Protection before forcing them to use their respective arts. Also used Snowblind and Zeal's Virtue just to make sure that they were mystic, seeing as I forced everyone to cast it while facing off against Namul Niram with varying damage totals. High INT units consistently dealt more, which was what I expected. So while I do use trainers, it's only for observation and testing purposes, with some goofing around on the side. And this is also why I play it in JP... Zephyr 05:55, May 14, 2011 (UTC)
