X360 Location: There are three rare monster locations that can either spawn a Monopole or a Stymphalian Bird. So for each location, if a Monopole isn't present, a Stympahlian Bird will spawn at the following locations. First map: between the yellow and green transporter. Second map: in front of the purple transporter (coming from the green one). Second map: on the way to the second treasure chest. PC Location: There is only one location a Stymphalian Bird will spawn. Is always present. First map: between the yellow and green transporter. PC Glitch Note: Sometimes the Stymphalian Bird will be invisible, as if it didn't spawn. When this happens you can walk right over its spawn point without encountering it. However, you can Timeshift at its location, link it (you'll hear the link sound), then start the battle to fight it. Alternatively, you can save your game inside the Sacred Lands, then reload it; this causes it to appear and properly function in the level. X360 Only Spawn Trick: It is possible to save your game right before using the Ark to enter the Sacred Lands. If Monopoles are there, just go back to the Title Menu and reload your game until Stymphalian Birds show up. This saves you from having to go through the Sixth Path, Final Fortress, and Seventh Path! This trick is unnecessary on the PC since the Stymphalian Bird always spawns.

Notes

• PC only: Can be captured to create a Imperator's Hammer.
• Uses Curse on the first turn. Usually follows up with Bewitch the next turn.
• Can be respawned.
