You will have to stop the Conqueror's army from reaching Celapaleis here during the story. A boss fight starts as soon you enter the area.
The enemy has five groups on the field: Roeas, Castanea and three squads. You have an additional guest union, fighters from Celapaleis, but don't expect much from them beside from being another target. The enemy is reinforced by two additional squads in the first and second round. Head for the enemies at the right side first and finish them off, the ones on the bottom won't enter the fight until you get close.
The biggest danger is the Overdrive skill Roeas or Castanea will use when the other is defeated. It gives them four attacks per round. Combined with their Multi-Deadlock ability the remaining one can easily wipe out all of your unions in one round. Try to keep some unions away or at the flanks the round after you defeated Roeas or Castanea, I think they use it only once.
