Formations are separated into 7 categories in game, and they are color coded as follows in the table below:

  • Recovery Formations


  • The order in which formations are listed here corresponds to the order in which they are listed in game.
  • Asterisks indicate a formation is an upgraded version of the one immediately preceding it. Double asterisks indicate a formation is a further upgrade of that. Each formation in such a series is a prerequisite for using the next one in line.
  • The listed Effect, +%, and -% modifiers are for the most advanced variant of each formation. Using a more primitive variant will result in smaller bonuses and larger penalties.
  • The numbers listed under each attribute indicate which positions in a formation will receive the respective bonuses (blue) or penalties (red). (e.g. 123 listed under Spd in blue indicates positions 1, 2, and 3, will receive a speed bonus)
