What is the best shield to use?

Depends on what you're looking for. The Imperator's Shield is good for its ability and decent EVA values. Shield of the Vanquisher is probably considered the best for defense since it has high P.EVA and M.EVA, along with Evasion+4. Zephyr135 01:50, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

I think the best shield is Enchanted Nethershield. It has higher overall evasion than Shielding Nethershield and this asymmetry is what makes Enchanted Nethershield so good. However, AFAIK there is literally only one unit in the entire game that can use it (Anios). Shield of Vanquisher would be my second place. Dark wizzie (talk) 21:55, August 2, 2018 (UTC)

I just arrived to Elysion, which shield should I be suing up to this point? I already have the kite shield upgraded twice (Combat Kite shield) and cannot upgraded due to the lack of ingredients. whats recommended?

The shield depends on your preference. In my opinion, I kept the Kiteshield all the way up to an Enchanted Soulshield. So keep the shield. --Brokendwarf 16:52, October 27, 2011 (UTC)

Again, you don't need to specify your version, especially for shields (they're the same in both versions). As for the answer to your question, it's the Shield of the Vanquisher at EVA40, but it requires some effort to upgrade due to the number of magazines you need to get for the drops. This page has a category for Huge Shields and Yama Shields. That's redundant because all of the Huge shields are Yama shields.

Each Shield has a Burden-Stat, right? I imagine the Shield of the Vanquisher has quite the weight. Is there a shield with unburdens but still good stats/effects? Or can you tell the weight by size, i.e. midsize surely is lighter than large?--Xardia (talk) 15:38, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

Over here. The Shield of the Vanquisher actually isn't that heavy. Just slightly less than DWing typical equips. And no, there aren't that many lighter shields with good stats. The weight is a non-issue once SPD is decent (50+), and the stats+effects more than outweigh the burden. Zephyr (talk) 15:44, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
