Race (Family) Edit

Since we all know that The Conqueror and The Demigod's are Remnant should we edit the category into Remnant Monster for The Demigod's and Remnant(Mitra)or just Remnant for The Conqueror instead of a humble question mark ?--Remnant13 09:54, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

No. There are accessories that increase damage dealt against Remnants, so check if those units happen to deal extra damage under defined conditions, and you have to set those parameters! And don't use Maces as they seem to randomly deal extra damage from time to time. If the units do deal extra damage with a weapon with the Remnant bonus, then go ahead with changing it. But until then, leave it. Zephyr 13:55, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
I don't use mace that often I only use Katana and Sword. I don't really know how to test about extra damage done and I don't know any accessories the give you that bonus I'll test it when I have time.--Remnant13 20:55, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
You don't? Frostblade/Frostsword customizations (+30%) and the Carnage Chain (+20%) have a Remnant bonus on them. Equip someone with the sword and/or the necklace and see what happens. Of course, you'd also have to account for morale, stats and formations to normalize the amount of damage dealt per turn and compare the results between them. I'm fairly sure that the data was extracted from the game stating that they have no defined type. Even the guides give a "????" instead of "Remnant". The Ala Melvilana Synthesis type might also be wrong as the JP guide gives "????" as well. I think I might have a save there, so I can probably check this weekend. Trying to catch up in the X360 version. Zephyr 21:12, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
Thought as much. Ala Melvilana Synthesis's type was added based on an assumption. It's very likely "?" as it's a mitra/Remnant fusion, not purely Remnant. Also, will be removing the Remnant category as it's not completely a Remnant. Zephyr 21:24, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
But you said to me before that they did not fused cuz if they did Duke Wilfred Hermeien whould disappear with it he is merely controlling Ala Melvilana Synthesis as for the Ala Melvilana Fusion I don't have any idea who is controlling it but it has the same dialog as Ala Melvilana Synthesis did.--Remnant13 22:32, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
Fusion not in the sense that they're fused together, but that there's both a mitra and Remnant there. Looking at how the game was programmed, they don't account for both mitra type and Remnant type on the same target. Zephyr 22:37, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
